In this episode of the 'Curate Your Life' podcast, Temetria discusses the importance of making the most of the year's final quarter instead of waiting for the new year to work on your goals. Drawing from a recent Instagram live session, Temetria emphasizes the need for continuous effort and compares goal setting to nurturing a plant's growth. The podcast encourages listeners to maintain momentum rather than giving up on their yearly ambitions. Temetria also introduces 'Simply Curated,' a program designed to help manage time, declutter, and maintain health during the busy holiday season. Audience engagement is encouraged, with Temetria urging listeners to share their end-of-year strategies, whether they're pushing hard or taking things slow.

Welcome to the curate your life podcast with Temetria where we focus on curating the life you've been dreaming of. One goal at a time so that you can make the rest of your life, the best of your life. Yeah. Okay. You guys, this. Podcasts this episode is probably going to be a little bit different. Because I am going to drop in alive. I'm going to attempt to drop in alive that I just did on Instagram talking about the last quarter of the year. But, uh, when she jewelers short intro and. Have you think about some things for the last quarter of the year? And I'll talk a little bit more about the last quarter of the year and the live. But it's basically deciding right now what you're going to do with the last quarter of the year. We have. Three months left in this year. Are you going to throw in the tile and get your life together in January? Or are you going to keep your foot on the gas and really make this last quarter of the year meaningful? And. Make progress towards your goal, or just keep things going at a normal pace and not just throw in the towel and let everything go to pot for the last quarter of the year. And so in that I talked about the fact that you wouldn't not water a plant for a whole quarter and then expect it to bloom and flower and be pretty. Um, At the beginning of the year. And just thinking about this because I stayed up way too late, last night, invested in the Cowboys victory had they stopped. They won the game in the last. Um, 10. 12 seconds of the, of the quarter. But have they just said, you know, This is the last quarter. We're just going to throw in the towel. They would not have won that game. Or even if they'd said this is the last. Minute or two minutes of the game where we would not have won that game. They kept going until the final second, and they won the game and fun fact. Because it was late. I was literally standing in front of the TV a little bit yelling at the TV. But. We had. I want to say 10 seconds left. And I swear, they said we were going to a commercial break. So I took a bio break and I actually missed in real time. The winning play I saw, um, On the, on a replay. But yeah, you can't throw in the towel at the end of the year. So I'm going to now drop in. The live that I just did on Instagram. So, um, to talk about some of the. Ideas and thoughts about the last quarter of the year, and to let you in on something that I'm doing to help you go and progress and keep going. Towards. Even if it's not a goal, just keep your life on a good, even pace. For the end of the year. So I'm going to drop this in. I hope it works. If not, I'll be back to tell you a little bit more about it. Um, it'll be some cutting and pasting going on. There's going to be cutting and pasting going on either way, but. Until next time. Happy Monday, y'all. Um, hope you're having a great day. I want to come on and chat with you really quickly. I just got off a call with a group of coaches and, um, we were talking about this last quarter of the year and kind of how it plays out for people. We were kind of specifically talking about our business, but also what we see with clients It can be one of two things. You can either decide that the year's almost over and, you know, you only have three and a two and a half months or three months left and I'm going to start getting ready for the next year 2025 and really hit the ground running come January or you can double down to try and meet your goal and to really do the things that you set out to do in at the beginning of the year or just Be somewhere in the middle and realize that it doesn't have to be either or, that you can continue on a steady pace toward your goal and just keep working because we, it's a whole quarter of the year that we have left. And I mentioned, I'm like, you know, it's like, I'm starting to see some seeds and some things that I've been working on are really kind of coming to fruition and. I'm starting to see the fruits of my labor, right? But what if you went a quarter of the year without watering your plants and then you expected them to show you some kind of fruit or flowers or whatever at the beginning of the next year? But if you spent a whole year neglecting them or not doing anything, you can't expect them to offer you The fruits of their plant hood. I shouldn't use plants in my example because I don't have the greenest of thumbs. I'm working on it. I'm doing a little bit better. But you get what I'm saying. Like, you can't stop working towards something for a whole quarter of the year and then expect it to magically just pick up where you left off and you're done. Keep going, like you're going to have to start over. You're going to have to prime the pump and start again. So where are you in this kind of spectrum of things for the last quarter of the year? Are you just throwing in the towel and waiting until next year and then you're going to get it all together at the beginning of the year? Or are you going to keep your foot on the gas? Or one of the options that we talked about was like, what one thing can you keep doing? to keep some momentum and some progress going. So that's one of the things that I've been that I've been thinking about, so I can help you. And I'll tell you about that in a second. So it was a little serendipitous that that's what we were talking about today. I personally am in the keep the foot on the gas camp. Um, So I would be curious. So if you want to put it in the comments and tell me where you are, are you going to keep your foot on the gas? Are you coasting through the end of the year? Are you parking the car and you'll just, you know, air up the tires and put some gas in it in January? That's not what I would recommend. How do you feel about it? So one of the things that I have decided for the last few months of the year that I want to offer, um, The people in my world is something that I am calling simply curated. Um, and, and one of the reasons, well, it's simply curated. So, people are really busy at this time of the year. That's what we hear, right? Oh, so busy. Um, People are kind of thinking about that, oh, in January, I'm going to have to get my life together, right, health wise. People are going out and doing more. There are activities and you want to be dressed for that. And, you know, your social life may pick up a little bit. People may be coming into your home. more. So simply curated is going to be a taste of helping you with all of that. So time management, so you can be busy and get all the things done and not feel overwhelmed. Um, we're going to talk about some decluttering strategies so you can welcome people into your home. And then there's the. piece on how to keep yourself healthy and vibrant and rested so you can enjoy the holidays and, um, talking about some wardrobe things and options and plans that you can make so you're not standing in your closet during the middle of the holidays with nothing to wear. Um, I feel like there was one more because I thought there were five. So it'll be a surprise to both of us when I go back and look at my notes. But Simply Curated is what we're calling it. We're going to kick off with time management because that's the thing. Everybody's like, Oh, it's so busy during the holidays. There are a lot of things going on. You can have a full calendar and you can approach it from a place of um, ease and not a place of heaviness and um, being scattered. So stay tuned for that. Let me see. I don't have, any way for you to sign up for that per se right now. What you can do is you can leave me a comment and um, send me a direct message and I will send you a message when we are ready to kick it off, which is going to be next week. So that's what I want to know. And I want to know where you are on the spectrum of foot on the gas or just throwing in the towel to the end of the, to the beginning of next year. Let me know that. I hope you are foot on the gas or somewhere in between, not just throwing in the towel, because this is a whole quarter of the year. That would be the same as saying at the beginning of the year, well, I'm not going to do anything towards my goal until April. It's the same thing. It's the same period of time. You will be amazed at what you can get done, what you can accomplish in a quarter. That's actually how I work with my clients. We work one quarter at a time. focused on one thing at a time. Yay, Andrea, you're keeping your foot on the, on the gas. That's fantastic. That's the way to go. And I know, I know you, and I know you're going to keep your foot on the gas, but a quarter of the year is a quarter of the year, right? And you can get so much done even if it's the last quarter of the year. That's what I have for you. It's quick. Again, leave me a message if you want more information about Simply Curated or just leave me a comment and let me know, um, how you, how you are going to finish this year. Have a good night.
